I have two OC names, slightly different characters, one’s a pegasus, named Free Spirit (bite me, it was my first OC name), and the second is Hard Cover, an avid reader of stories, not to learn like Twilight does.
Like seriously, if you like Percy Jackson, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord Of the Rings, Rise Of The Guardians, or any other fantasy-based series, book, or movie, then I don’t think there’s any way you could bitch about twilight becoming an alicorn without being some level of a hypocrite. The whole point of this genre is maturity, coming of age, ascending and becoming all you can be. To aspire to be great, to do great using the powers and tools that you acquire on your quest to become the best you can be.
Besides twilight’s already halfway there, she just needs wings to seal the deal anyway :P so it’s not like it’d be THAT much of a change
Wait, what does liking any of those shows/movies have to do with Twilight becoming an alicorn? Where is this coming from? I swear if this is a possible spoiler for the next episode or an episode this season I’m gonna scream…
Anyway, that aside, my opinion: I hope Twilight doesn’t become an alicorn. I like her as a unicorn, and while her being an alicorn wouldn’t change much in my mind, unicorn suits her better.
Now, I’d much rather see her become a princess while remaining a unicorn. That could be interesting based on personal preferences. I feel like her becoming an alicorn, while awesome, isn’t… well.. I guess ‘right’ in my eyes. Idk. It would depend on how it’s executed.
I still have no idea what’s going on, though.
